Zofia Jurewicz, OAA, AIA, NCARB, SCUP
Zofia Jurewicz is the firm’s President and a Senior Project Architect. She has 34 years of local and international experience in the design and project management of high-technology, institutional, educational, and research facilities. She has received numerous awards for her work, which have been published in Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Ms. Jurewicz has special expertise in leading an Integrated Design Process (IDP) on complex projects. She facilitates consensus building on programming and design charettes. She is passionate about the implementation of 21st Century learning objectives into Educational Programming, Master Planning, and Design. Ms. Jurewicz serves as a Director of the Education Foundation of Ottawa and is a past director of the Central Florida Educational Foundation and City of Ottawa Heritage Committee.

Her special expertise includes functional programming of academic and research facilities.
Vice President, Senior Project Architect
Jerzy Jurewicz, OAA, AIA, ARIDO, NCARB
Jerzy Jurewicz joined the firm in 1990, and was a Senior Project Architect for nine years. After moving to Florida, he was a Senior Designer and an Associate Principal with the Florida- and Indiana-based firm, SchenkelShultz Architecture. In 2007, Jerzy returned to Edward J. Cuhaci and Associates Architects Inc. Throughout his career, he has specialized in the design, project management, and construction administration of educational, research, corporate, and airport facilities. Jerzy serves as a Senior Project Architect and Senior Interior Designer, and oversees and implements the design direction of the Firm. An award-winning designer, Jerzy has received recognition for design excellence for a wide variety of projects. He served as a member of the City of Ottawa Design Committee. Jerzy has a special interest in mentoring intern architects, which follows his 4 year tenure as an adjunct professor. He is an accomplished architectural illustrator. His expertise includes hand sketching as well as computer generated images.
Vice President, Senior Project Architect
David Bull, OAA
Since joining Edward J. Cuhaci and Associates Architects Inc. in 1983, David Bull has been the Project Manager and Project Architect for many high technology, corporate, industrial, and institutional projects. David is also responsible for overseeing contract administration and quality control. He specializes in the management of projects with fast-track construction schedules and innovative project delivery methods. He also offers expertise in the design and implementation of energy-efficient building technology. David is the Firm’s Senior Laboratory Design Expert and, most recently, completed the design of a large bio-safety, “Level 3” laboratory for the University of Ottawa. He works closely with scientists and faculty to ensure comprehensive planning and design solutions are achieved. He is very familiar with programming, design and project management of high quality corporate offices as well as continuing care seniors' supportive housing.


Associate Principal, Project Architect
Xu Feng OAA
Xu Feng received his Bachelor of Architecture from Beijing Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 1995 and obtained a Master of Architecture from McGill University in 2000. Since joining Edward J. Cuhaci and Associates Architects Inc. in the year after his graduation, he has worked extensively on institutional projects. He has been responsible for a range of new educational facilities of varying scale and complexity as well as additions and renovations. As a Project Architect or member of the Design team, Xu has participated in all phases of the delivery process including programing, municipal approval, design, contract documentation and construction administration. His experience includes H.M. Tory Building at Carleton University, St. Francis Xavier High School, Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence at Algonquin College, St. Thomas Acquinas Catholic School, St. Gregory Catholic School, and St. Mark Elementary School.

Associate Architect
Simon Rioux OAQ
Simon Rioux is an Associate Architect with the firm and registered with the Ordre des architects du Québec (OAQ). Simon participates in all stages of project development, including feasibility studies, programming and scheduling, construction documents preparation, coordination and contract administration. In addition to coordinating a project team, his expertise also includes 3D modelling and rendering. Simon’s experience with the firm includes work on Alain-Fortin Catholic Elementary School, Notre-Dame-des-Champs Catholic Elementary School, Algonquin Center for Construction Excellence, and Canada Council for the Arts interior fit up. Simon obtained his Bachelor in architecture in 2000 from Laval University. He joined Edward J. Cuhaci And Associates Architects Inc. in 2008.

Anne Barclay
Anne has been with Edward J. Cuhaci And Associates Architects Inc. since 1996. Anne actively assists the firm to coordinate much of the abundant correspondence between the firm and its clients and consultants. Her commitment to consistency and accuracy has made her a vital part of the successful operations of the firm. Anne graduated from Willis Business College.
